CHARLIE CHAPLIN'S "THE CIRCUS" (1928) - AN OVERVIEW

The storyline in the film shows this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in appreciate with Merna, who returns his passion. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (played by Henry Bergman) will come onto the scene and Merna straight away falls in adore with him. Why? Since his act is daring and unsafe though Chaplin’s clown act has considerably less prestige. A
